Research Title: Document Visual Question Answering to interpret multiple modalities.

Qasim Mehmood is currently pursuing his PhD degree from Bahria University, Islamabad with the research title “Document Visual Question Answering”. Objective is to employ document visual question answering based on textual, information graphics and images. The proposed research aims a step towards General AI by developing novel techniques for Visual Question Answering on info-graphics documents for meaningful interpretation. The goal is to read and understand the text, and visual data on documents images and to evaluate the proposed method on benchmark datasets and compare it with state-of-the-art techniques. He has completed his MS degree in Data Sciences from Bahria University, Islamabad in 2020.
